Xchange Tastes

Crossroads Charlotte is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor for Taste of the World and invites the community to Xchange Tastes during this special event!

The Taste of the World event annually provides an opportunity for participants to savor the miles of flavor in East Charlotte’s culturally diverse district. A favorite of Charlotte epicureans, Taste of the World is founded and organized by E.A.S.T. (Eastland Area Strategies Team).

Participants in Taste of the World not only get to sample the various cuisines, but via Crossroads Charlotte Xchange Tastes also have an opportunity to interact with each other and the owners of the restaurants in which they are dining. Crossroads Charlotte guides conversations and encourages participants to meet others during the experience.

A restaurant guide is compiled each year, and you can download them using the links below.

At Foskoskies, a delightful neighborhood restaurant practically hidden on Shamrock Drive, the diners emerged from the bus, entered and sat at tables covered with white paper, the better to doodle with the provided crayons.
