In the very beginning, I think it shows that just being friendly or talking to someone can make someone's day. I believe this to be true. Being friendly doesn't hurt.

Also in the end where the community comes together to help build the center together is very nice and all, but I haven't really seen anything like that come true at least before my eyes.
