At first, I can't lie, I couldn't get my mind off the bad acting. The turning point for me in the story was when the vet said he would rather be in Iraq. To think situations here, in the US-the country he fought for, was worse than the middle east is unreal. I think of all the problems we have, homeless is ignored the most unless it invovles children. There are so many bad stereotypes associated with poverty (they're crazy, they smell, they're lazy) that we don't acknowledge it enough.
