    Posted by: fergusonm1on: July 1st, 2009

Crestdale Family Fun Day is just a few weeks away and the planning team has been working hard to prepare. Community meetings were recently conducted with members of the Crestdale Community to learn about its history and culture and to plan a Family Fun Day for Crestdale residents. 250 flyers have been distributed to residents to inform them of the July 11th event.

Special thanks to the Charlotte Chapter of Boat People, SOS (a national organization that helps Vietnamese Americans integrate into their community). The organization is helping to promote the Crestdale Community Project and Family Fun Day on a local Vietnamese radio program. We are thankful to have such great advertising and support for this project.

We hope to see you on July 11th for a day of art, culture, food, and fun!
