In its 6th annual Martin Luther King Jr. tribute, Carolinas College of Health Sciences re-creates the emotional and galvanizing oratory of Booker T Washington, Nat Turner, W.E.B. DuBois, Martin Luther King, Jr., etc. We'll also hear original Sheena Simpson poetry & sing great historical spirituals. Event includes what King called "my favorite Southern foods" (served at 11:30 a.m.) Program at noon. $11 and includes complete lunch & beverage. Attendance limited. Call 704.355.5051 to reserve.
