Please join us as we explore the intersection of race, gender, and socioeconomic status as depicted in the movie The Help. The film will be followed by a panel discussion facilitated by Dr. Susan Harden, Crossroads Charlotte, and historic figures who lived as maids and employers during the era of the movie. We will address both past and contemporary issues as we strive to answer the question: Who is the Help today?
